Вошел я в пустой дом,
Повесил на гвоздь
Пальто,
А черный вошел слон
В лагерь белых врагов.
Опираясь на трость
С набалдашником
Из кости
Слоновой,
До окна я добрел
Еле-еле,
Чтоб разглядеть,
Как по черной земле
Махало снегом белым.
